To promote academic exchange among outstanding graduates, stimulate students' interest in scientific research, and identify talented candidates for pharmaceutical research and development in China, the School of Chemical Biology and Biotechnology (SCBB) at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School and the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering (CCME) at Peking University will jointly organize the "2025 National Outstanding Graduate Students Summer Camp " from July 4th to 6th, 2025, at the Yan Yuan Campus of Peking University. All selected participants are required to attend the entire summer camp program. Those with special circumstances may submit a written request for consideration.
The event will cover all academic programs offered by both schools, including:
· SCBB Program:
Chemistry (Chemical Genomics) Research Areas: Chemical Biology, Synthetic Chemistry, Translational Biology, Computational Chemistry, Modern Biotechnology, Translational Medicine
· CCME Programs:
Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry and Physics, Chemical Biology, Applied Chemistry, Theoretical and Computational Chemistry
Applications are now officially open.
1. Program Activities
(1) Comprehensive introduction to Peking University's CCME and SCBB, covering the historical evolution, current landscape, and future trajectories. Additionally, research groups from both schools will present academic posters and engage in interactive discussions with all participants.
(2) Camp participants will visit laboratories and participate in discussion sessions with current undergraduate and graduate students.
(3) The selection of Outstanding Camp Participants will be based on comprehensive chemistry tests and individual presentations. Specific details regarding the selection process will be announced separately.
