On the morning of April 25, 2014, professor Jinpeng Sun from The Shandong University School of Medicine gave an excellent report titled “Biased signaling of G protein coupled receptor” in E-104 at the invitation of professor Yuqing Huo.The main points of this report are: 1) the effect of GPCR in human diseases, its biased signaling pathway, and potential drug targets of GPCR in diabetes; 2) in vitro molecular evolution and application of RNA or Peptide aptamer, selectively activate or block the cell signaling pathways for functional study; 3) basic theory research in biased signaling pathways of GPCR. This report gave us a professional understanding of GPCR signaling pathway and the potential drug targets.
