Prof. Zhixiang Yu, from Peking University, visited our school on May. 7, 2014. The Yu group at Peking University is devoted to use both computational chemistry and organic synthesis to advance organic chemistry.
Today, he gave us a lecture named as “Versatile VinylCycloPropanes (VCP) in Synthesizing Ring Compounds” and shared his work in this field with us. Besides, Prof. Yu talked with our students, and shared his experience in scientific research, which made us benefit a lot.
