Today, Prof. Ningning Ma coming from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University visited our school and gave us a wonderful lecture, named “Post-translational Modifications of Biological Medicine and Its Influence on Druggability”. Post-translational Modifications involving in the discovery of biological medicine include folding, glycosylation, hydroxylation, deacylation and so on. Those post-translation modifications mentioned above have a big influence on druggability of protein drugs. Professors in SCBB, who devote themselves to discovery of small molecule drugs, are very interested in Prof. Ma’s research area and they have a heat discussion there.
