On December 2, 2014 in the afternoon 14:00，with Prof. Wu Yun-Dong’s invitation，Prof. Zhang Xiao-An, from Jilin University, gave us a great academic report in E104.
Prof. Zhang is the ‘thousand talents’ national distinguished expert, Liaoning and Jilin province distinguish expert. He is the winner of Liaoning province ‘friendship award’, and owns 61 U.S. patent authorizations and world patents. The title of Prof. Zhang’s report is “Bio-inspired chemical development of functional materials”. Firstly, Prof. Zhang introduced the application and research background of rewritable materials. Then he concretely introduced their research on electrobase/electroacid triggered color switch. Finally, he emphasized his research objectives on nature discovery and benefitting mankind.
After the report, Prof. Zhang discussed with us actively to let us know the application of bionic functional materials more deeply.
