On July 27, 2015 in the morning 10:00，with Prof. Wu Yun-Dong’s invitation，Prof. Peng, from the French National Scientific Research Center, gave us a great academic report in F-101.
Prof. Peng is a research director at the French National Scientific Research Center (CNRS), and a group leader at the Interdisciplinary Center on Nanoscience in Marseille (CINaM) in France. The title of Prof. Peng’s report is ‘Drug discovery and drug delivery in cancer therapy’. Firstly, Prof. Peng introduced the novel triazole nucleoside analogues as anticancer candidates using modern green chemistry. To further improve the anticancer drug bioavailability, they have developed innovative supramolecular nanocarriers for targeted drug delivery, which showed high loading efficiency for effective anticancer activity to combat drug resistance yet with considerably reduced adverse effect.
After the report, Prof. Peng discussed with us actively to let us know the application of supramolecular chemistry based dendrimer nanotechnology more deeply.
