On December 7, 2013, the award ceremony of the seventh annual WuXi PharmaTech Life Science and Chemistry Awards was held at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. The awards aim to recognize and reward highly accomplished scholars in various fields of drug discovery and development. The award committee was comprised of distinguished experts in life sciences and drug discovery from both academia and industry in China. Dr. Zhengying Pan won the 2013 Scholar Award for his achievement in drug discovery.
