Prof. Masahiro Miura, from Osaka University, visited our school on Mar. 24, 2014. Prof. Miura’s research interests include transition metal catalysis including C-H activation and the synthesis of functional molecules, especially new i-conjugated aromatic substance and have made excellent work.
Today, he gave us a lecture named as “Development of Transition Metal-Mediated Direct Aromatic Coupling Reactions” and shared his work in this field with us. Besides, Prof. Miura talked with our students, and shared his experience in scientific research, which made us benefit a lot.
